A Podcast About Things That Matter

Keeping the art of great conversation alive.

The Host

Tim Monroe is a husband, and a dad. He first started talking into a microphone at age 14 when he was a sportscaster and a DJ at his high school radio station outside Chicago. Since then he has been a teacher, a Headmaster, a Development Director, a public radio professional, and the Executive Director of an NGO based in Honduras. He is currently consulting to non-profit organizations, serving as the First Fellow of Berea College in Kentucky and revising his first novel (better late than never). He loves reading great books, traveling to cool places, listening to all kinds of music, and cooking and eating delicious food. He especially loves stimulating conversations with fascinating people—hence this podcast. And, oh by the way, he used to sell peanuts at Wrigley Field.
